Prince Bola Ajibola, a former Judge of the International Court of Justice in The Hague, Netherlands, has died.
Ajibola, a former Attorney-General of Nigeria, died at the age of 89.
According to reports, the respected legal icon who founded Crescent University, Abeokuta, died on Saturday midnight after a long illness caused by old age.
Segun Ajibola (SAN), the late jurist’s eldest child, announced this in a statement issued on Sunday in Abeokuta.
“With very deep heart and gratitude to Almighty Allah,” the statement reads in part.
“Our Dad, Prince Bola Ajibola, departed this world over midnight. May Almighty Allah bless him with Aljanah Firdaus.”
The remains of the late prince Bola Ajibola is expected to be buried around 4 pm according to Islamic rites at his Islamic Mission for Africa Centre in Abeokuta South Local Government of Ogun State
