Dame Ifeoyinola wuraolami-Jacobs, founder of Impact and Inspire Wuraolami Foundation has called on the Government and private sector to support the cause of Education in Nigeria. She noted that her foundation was particular about reaching out to the less privileged.

 

Dame Ifeoyinola Jacobs said the target of her NGO is to award scholarship to 100 indigents students in 2023 and so far 20 students have benefited with each beneficiary issued a cheque of five hundred thousand Naira (N500,000).

“Private sectors and our blessed government must invest in education, intended to assist local Indigenes and other NGOs develop the infrastructure necessary to serve the children in the company’s areas of influence”, concluded Dame Ifeoyinola Wuraolami Jacobs.

 

Mrs Tinuola Idowu former director in Lagos State ministry of Education commended Dame Jacobs for her selfless service to the less privileged and the community and her commitment to shape a better future for the country.

 

Mrs Idowu therefore urged the students to be more committed to their education reiterating that only education that can make them dynamic.

Explaining how the beneficiaries of the scholarship were chosen, Ms Uche Hellen, a director of education with Impact and Inspire foundation, noted that the students applied for the scholarships and those who passed the screening became beneficiaries.

Top dignitaries who were in attendance were: Mrs Tinuola Idowu, former director with the Lagos state ministry of Education, Mrs Nwokodikwa the Principal Of Prestige Private College; Dr. Dike the Principal of St. Rita College; Mrs Uchenna Obi Proprietress of Pre-Chess Nursery and Primary school, etc
