Matthew Ibadin: A Beacon In Nigeria’s Private Security Corridors
The common saying that “gold is only sold to those who know the value” can literarily describe the passion with which Mr. Matthew Ibadin (PhD -in view, MSc, MPhil, BSc, DCP – spy), a graduate of Political Science from the University of Lagos has embraced everything and anything that has to do with security. He may not have acquired the same larger than life image of those we often refer to, as security experts, yet his voice resonates and meaningfully too, when and where it becomes inevitable to get some professional contributions on issues of security in our national life.
With deep interest in activities that positively or negatively shape the country’s public and private security space and how such occurrences affect the citizenry, Ibadin has not left anyone in doubt as to where his spirit lies. Since his venturing into the private security sector, he has remained a vocal voice on the side of advocacy for good governance that makes the security of lives and property a priority. Over the years, he has not been economical with professional advice that may have aided the country’s leadership in arriving at some policy decisions.
