The 2024 Annual Conference of the Nigeria Police Force PROs and
Communication experts themed: ‘ Strengthening the Nigeria Police Force Oversight and Accountability’ is a milestone effort to train, retrain, and get the PROs across national, zonal, states, and other levels of the Police up to speed about the global best practices in the field of Public Relations, information management, and communication technology.
It will also be an opportunity for the Force to evaluate its performance in public relations and management. While misinformation and disinformation pervades the air concerning the Nigeria Police Force as Nigeria’s no. 1 security agency and Nigeria as a country, it is very important to ensure that those involved in the day-to-day administration of information and knowledge sharing in the Force are trained in media literacy and critical thinking, social media engagement and management, confidence building and accountability, management of diversity of opinions and perspectives, while sharing the success stories of the Force.
The conference will also enable the PROs and communication experts to build camaraderie and collaboration while they relax and unwind in an atmosphere of comfort and calm.
