Oba Elegushi Threatens Legal Action Over Many Unending Allegations On Mohbad Death
— Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi
His Royal Majesty, Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi of Ikate-Elegushi Kingdom is no doubt troubled at the moment by spurious social media posts that seem hell-bent on tarnishing his image and bringing disrepute to the throne and the Elegushi palace.
Recently, the palace expressed deep concern and condemnation of a campaign of calumny against the monarch and the throne.
Despite ongoing investigations by the police into the death of Ilerioluwa Aloba, a.k.a Mohbad, some individuals have continued to spread baseless allegations linking the palace and Oba Saheed Elegushi to the tragic incident.
A Social Media user identified as Tosin Raj has found herself in trouble after posting that Oba Elegushi is the real father of Mohbad’s son, Liam.

The lady took to her social media page to saying that the Oba of Elegushi is rumored to be the real father of the child of the late artist, Mohbad.
However, the lady deleted her social media post a few hours after she posted it on her page.

Addressing the issue, a representative from the Elegushi family, Otunba took to his social media page to disclose that the necessary actions have been taken against Tosin Raj over her recent post about the Oba of Elegushi.
What has left the monarch perturbed is the obvious fact that there was no known relationship between the palace, the monarch, and the late singer or his family.
Temitope Oyefeso, Special Assistant, Public Affairs to HRM, hinted that legal action is being taken both in Nigeria and overseas and the law would take its course in addressing the cyber-attacks and bullying directed at the palace and traditional ruler.
“The palace didn’t want to join issues with these detractors in the first place, we understand the sacrifices you pay being a leader or a cynosure in a gathering. But the rate at which the allegations are going, there’s need to establish the truth and that’s why we are involving the police to invite them and give evidences.” Oyefeso explained.
